Isn't this a pretty picture? I think so, but then I took it so what am I supposed to think..Yes I do like this picture, it is of a church and for some reason I really like to take pictures of God's houses. Now in answer to the question in the title, yes I love to go to church! Whether it is to a church service, or to spend time with the Ladies as we do on Wednesday evening, or our Saturday morning meetings or our Saturday evening Healing services. Yes a thousand times Yes, I like to go to church!
Do you?
If not why not?
This morning on the 700 Club Mrs. Terry Meeuwsen was reading an email letter from a woman about forcing or not forcing her 21 year old daughter to go to church, since she was living in her home. I absolutely loved Pat Robertson's answer, he said (I am paraphrasing this, it is not exact) that some church services can be as painful as a leg cramp. Well I for one must concur! Completely, absolutely, totally agree! But not ours. I heard one women comment that she learned more at our church in one hour than she learned in years of going to her previous church. Now frankly that says a lot about our church! And our pastors/teachers!
Something to think about. Yesterday I suggested that you talk to God to find out from Him what it is that He would have you to do with your life, do you remember that, if not read yesterday again. Cause there may be other important stuff you missed. "Jesus did something so we could become something," said by Todd White during the 12/1/12 healing service. What is the something that you are going to do? Will you work for the less fortunate? Will you become a nurse, or a doctor? Will you be a fireman or a paramedic? Will you be a prayer warrior? (This is something we can all do!)
Jesus died for us; He was scourged (beaten, only worse, much worse) for us.
Don't you think the lest we could do, would be to ask Him, what we should do for the Kingdom of God? I really don't think that is asking to much, do you?
What is your reality of being a Christian? There used to be a bumper sticker that said, "If you were convicted of being a Christian, would there be enough proof?" Oh boy I sure hope so! What about you? Is there enough evidence to convict you of being a Christian? You know we can say I love you, I love you, I love you, but, if your actions don't follow suit with your words, your words are empty and meaningless. It is just that simple. So if your actions are not going to follow suit, then you are a liar. Hmmm! That could sting some people. But isn't this the truth? I believe it is. Just look at what God said in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish (die), but have eternal life. Green to me is the color of life...God's words are certainly backed up by His actions. I can not even begin to comprehend this much love, I just have to accept it.
And on this note I must get ready for work, and to go a be a blessing. Will you?
