How are all of you out there today? I really hope you are all well and conscious of your subconscious, and what it is up to!

Do you know what conscious is? Well just in case I looked it up. And the following are the definitions that I found:

2 archaic: sharing another's knowledge or awareness of an inward state or outward fact
3: personally felt <conscious guilt>
4: capable of or marked by thought, will, design, or perception
The part of this list that I would like to talk about today is ......Can you guess? Number 3, I bet you figured that out! Just because we are talking about something really serious, doesn't mean we have to be stuffy! Does it? We all can appreciate when something is serious and needs to be paid attention to, but, I believe that if you aren't stodgy and suffocating you might just be able to get more information across. I think it would also be a good idea to have an understanding of what our subconscious is as well. So here is the definition of this word:
: existing in the mind but not immediately available to consciousness <a subconscious motive>

These pictures that you see are some toys I have made some a little while back and some more recently. The reason that I picked these pictures is because they do NOT have a conscious or a subconscious.
How about that, I'll bet you already knew that. But I thought I would just make sure.
The way that we behave is governed by our conscious, don't you think? And whether we are talking about our conscious or our subconscious we are speaking of our brains. And not as in "How smart are you?" but more along the lines of kindness and being mean!

Good verses evil! God verses the devil. God wins! Yay God!
I used to sing a song, along with the radio, when my children were tots, and some of the words were,"your mind is a computer, what goes in is what comes out!" And to this day I am a very firm believer in this. If you spend time in evil and unpleasant books, or watching "R" rated or worse movies, these things will have an effect on you and on your behavior...and not a good effect.
Just to give you a little history that I know of what I speak. There was a time in my life were I spent a fair amount of time watching science fiction and horror movies, good example, Steven King, as well as reading the books. I found after a while that I could not even get a good nights sleep. My conscious brain was looking for the next horror movie or book to see or read and my subconscious was keeping me up at night because I was reliving these horrors even when I was trying to sleep.
However, before I lost sight of all that is good I started to spend more time in my bible and this is one of the best verse to heal our minds from such horrors:
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
Needless to say I no longer read these book or watch these types of movies.
And on this note we will have to close for today and we will come back to this tomorrow.
So please spend some time on being a blessing to someone today and think upon these things and try to put them to good and Godly use.
