Conscious/Subconscious, Good verse evil... Conclusion

A very good word to start with:
 
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
 
This is the day, this is the day, that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made, let us rejoice, let us rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it.  This is the day that the Lord has made let us be glad and rejoice in it!  This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made!

Don't you agree that God is great?  Well, frankly if you don't agree with me on this you should!  God does nothing without a good reason.  It may be difficult for us to understand at present but there is always a great purpose, behind what occurs! 

Yesterday we spoke a little about our conscious and subconscious and I related to you about my past and about the period in my life that was spent in to much horror; today I want to spend a little time speaking directly to you parents.

And I am not trying to scare you, but if that is what it takes, then so be it!  I am going to put a few scenarios before you and I want you to think about the possible outcomes for each.

1. A child is born into a country family, reared on a farm, but left alone a great deal of time, basically the child was born as a helper for the farm.  The child grows up, and remember, he has spent most of his time alone...however...he has seen mom and dad hitting at animals on the farm to make them listen, as well as at him when he needed correction.  Child grows up into adulthood, but what kind of adult?

2. A child is born into a wealthy family with a nanny to rear him, the nanny is young and inexperienced and has to spend all her time with this baby, herself feeling very isolated and she doesn't take the best care of the tot. Nothing tragic occurs and the child grows to adulthood, however, nothing was ever done to help to grow the child’s mind in any particular direction. Again I ask you what kind of adult will this child become?

3. A child is born into a fairly normal family and right away lot of time and love and patience is showered on the child.  Time is spent with the child, he is read to, not much TV, more family time, rather than sitting together and absorbing what is put out on the airways by who knows who, and the child grows and does well, again I will ask you, what kind of adult will this child become?

All the time that is spent on a child as it grows, words and actions or behaviors are tucked away into the subconscious mind.  I have seen a child, years back, who was a member of a wonderful family, I say was, she still is, and this little girl observed the uncaring way that Momma treated Daddy, when Dad spoke to Mom, Mom ignored him.  Basically blew him off.  This is what the child saw, day after day, after day!  Do you think that this little girl is going to be able to grow up and have a happy and loving relationship with a spouse?  I highly doubt it, and both of her parents can take credit for this, not just Mom, sure Mom was the unpleasant person, but Dad should have had a bit more back bone and dealt with the situation, rather than letting it go on and on and on.

Our children are like amazing little sponges, or computers, if you would, what goes in is what comes out.

Now I would like you to think upon this part of the definition for conscious:

2 archaic: sharing another's knowledge or awareness of an inward state or outward fact

Now I know that this part says "archaic" and this is what this word means:

Definition of ARCHAIC
1: having the characteristics of the language of the past and surviving chiefly in specialized uses <an archaic word>

2: of, relating to, or characteristic of an earlier or more primitive time : antiquated <archaic legal traditions>

capitalized : of or belonging to the early or formative phases of a culture or a period of artistic development; especially : of or belonging to the period leading up to the classical period of Greek culture

4: surviving from an earlier period; specifically: typical of a previously dominant evolutionary stage

capitalized : of or relating to the period from about 8000 b.c. to 1000 b.c. and the North American cultures of that time

I believe that the dictionary people should have left this as a standing definition, because, whether we want to accept it or not the devil is still a presence to be believe with!  And I believe that he still puts his actions into play were ever he can and on what ever weak ground he can find, as in our subconscious.  This archaic portion of our definition states that we are sharing "another's knowledge." Who might this "another" be?  We know that the devil has been around since the beginning, remember, he was in the Garden of Eden?  The devil looks for any little tiny weakness he can find, but our God is greater than any devil or his friends, but in order to have His help we have to ask Him for it.  That is the amazing thing about free will, we get to choose.

So I am going to continue to get any bad thoughts out of my mind, with Jesus' help. And I am going to continue to think upon whatsoever is good and pure and...Do you remember the verse?
Philippians 4: 8 Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, and whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Remember that the only advice that comes from the bible is great advice, so I plan on taking it.
